LAKEWAY FOUNDERS PROPERTIES

Lakeway Founders Properties is a real estate company formed out of the resurrection of The Lakeway Company, a staple of the development of the Lakeway community on the west side of Austin, TX. LFP aims to help preserve the charm and architecture of Old Lakeway while breathing new life into the homes that make up the core of the city. KW Branding and Design was contacted by LFP in order to help relaunch their brand, as well as find technological solutions to the management of their short-term rental program.

Logo + Branding Development

Lakeway Founders Properties is an integral part of the Lakeway community. Their iconic logo, including the sailboat and rolling hills in the background, has been a base for the City of Lakeway brand for many years. Keeping this in mind, Lobster Ferret helped bring the Lakeway Founders Properties logo into the 21st century and helped create variations for different uses across different mediums.

Website Development

A website to help educate the community on Lakeway Founders Properties’ vision for the Old Lakeway neighborhood, and encourage people to get in contact about their properties and the unique incentives that Lakeway Founders Properties offers in regards to redevelopment and real estate was of top priority. Lobster Ferret executed on this vision with a website that helped expand upon these ideas and effectively communicated with prospective clients, while also serving as a stop to book short-term rentals, and a knowledge hub to learn more about the Lakeway community and the process of moving there. Lobster Ferret further managed the site through blog creation and continuous updates to reflect the ever-changing real estate market in Lakeway.

Social Media Creation and Management

Lakeway Founders Properties did not have a social media presence before Lobster Ferret was hired on to help. We were tasked with setting up all social media channels and transferring the work we had already completed in the brand development phase into a cohesive social media strategy that would attract Lakeway residents and visitors alike. We featured many of LFP’s unique benefits as well as some favorite things to do in Lakeway.

Short Term Rental Implementation

With Lakeway’s competitive housing market and booming tourism industry, Lakeway Founders Properties purchased multiple rentals for use by clients who were looking for or building a home in the Lake Travis area. The problem was that LFP in the past had relied on honesty and taking check’s from patrons. Lobster Ferret was asked to research and implement a short-term rental software to help collect payment and easily manage reservations with their property manager. We researched many different solutions and ultimately decided on Lodgify, a short-term rental software, coupled with Stripe, a payment software, to help collect payment and manage the proprties.
