What’s a Lobster Ferret?

When I was 16, I built my first website. The temporary domain had "lobster" and "ferret" in it—random, but had a nice ring to it. I moved on to kobywheeler.com but immediately purchased lobsterferret.com for future use.

Fast forward to 2018, when I launched the agency, the name fit. It was different, memorable, and reflected the way we work—curious, creative, and always adapting.

Now, we’re a full service digital marketing agency helping brands grow with smart strategy, social media, digital ads, search engine optimization, and design. The name is quirky, but so is the way we think—curious, creative, and always adapting.

    Founder & Chief Problem Solver

    Koby is our founder and chief problem solver, dedicated to delivering innovative marketing and branding solutions at Lobster Ferret. A lifelong entrepreneur, he has been featured in Entrepreneur magazine and spoken at SXSW and TEDx. When he's not steering our vision, you'll find Koby exploring local coffee shops, trying out new restaurants, and enjoying a wide range of music.

  • Juliann Riggin

    Digital Content Coordinator

    Juliann is our digital content coordinator, specializing in social media, copywriting, and SEO. A graduate of the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's in Advertising, she delivers targeted digital content that drives measurable results for Lobster Ferret's clients. You may get introduced to her friendly coworkers, her cats, on a call.

    Digital Advertising Specialist

    Dave is our Digital Ads Specialist. Originally training as an educator, he has a talent for breaking down complex marketing concepts into clear, actionable insights. Proud of his Texan roots—born and raised in Corpus Christi—Dave brings both local pride and a global perspective to his work, fueled by his love for travel and all things Spain.
