Where they started
Two agencies, no results and no control
Two agencies, nothing to show
Showcase had already paid two SEO companies month after month for what amounted to stuffing keywords on a page. No leads they could point to and no rankings that moved. By the time they came to us, “SEO” was close to a dirty word.
Locked out of their own website
A previous vendor built the site so they couldn’t edit it. Core pages were buried in code, and they’d just fought to get control of it back.
A great business behind the mess
Showcase is an established operation with lawn care customers across three Pennsylvania counties, a good name and a steady phone. They had no working digital setup to grow it, and every reason to doubt anyone promising one.
What we did
Track real money, then build an engine that compounds
- 01
Measured success in booked jobs and real sales
Most marketing reports stop at “you got 40 leads,” which tells a contractor nothing about whether any of them turned into money. From day one we set up tracking as deep into the process as we could, all the way to booked, sold work and the dollars behind it. That’s why the numbers here are in dollars.
- 02
Built the organic side on Google Maps rankings
For “lawn care near me” searches, the map pack shows up first, and that’s where the volume is for home services. We built the organic work around their Google Business Profile and tracked rankings across the whole service area, all three counties, instead of one pin at the office.
- 03
Turned every finished job into hyper-local proof
When a job wraps, the system asks for a review and drops the job onto a map on their website, shown by neighborhood and never by address. It’s a zip-code-level SEO signal, and it sells: a prospect sees work done two streets over. We seeded the map from existing reviews so it didn’t start empty.
- 04
Put the paid budget where the recurring money is
Lawn care treatment is recurring. Sign a customer once and they’re back round after round, year after year, while landscaping is mostly one-and-done. So we concentrated paid search on the treatment program, the work that builds a book of business.

THE TURNING POINT
We put everything behind lawn care. That program nearly doubled
Showcase told us straight: lawn care was the priority, the recurring work that brings customers back every year. So that’s where we put the budget. Their core lawn care treatment program went from about $60K in the 2025 season to about $117K in 2026, counting all sales in the same timeframe.
“Lobster Ferret treats our business like it’s their own. When we hit a wall getting our systems connected, they found a way through it instead of waiting around. Their problem solving is exceptional. Lobster Ferret’s responsiveness, communication, follow-through, and expertise is top-level.”
