Home services digital marketing
Local SEO, ads and websites, run as one system
Most home services companies hire one company for ads, another for SEO and someone else for the website, then nobody can say what’s working. We run all three against one number: booked jobs.
The short version
What is digital marketing for home services?
It’s the work that gets homeowners to find you online and book: local SEO so you show up in the map pack and organic search, paid ads on Google and Meta for demand you can turn up or down, and a website that gets those visitors to call or book. Tracking ties all three to booked jobs and revenue, so you know where every dollar went.
- Channels
- Local SEO, Google Ads, Meta ads, websites
- Best for
- Multi-crew companies ready for one team to own the whole picture
- How we measure it
- Booked jobs and revenue by channel, every month
- Not included
- Organic social media management, email marketing, print
How SEO, ads and your website work together
Every channel is judged by booked jobs
Each service does a different job. SEO builds visibility you don’t pay for per click. Ads fill the gaps and the busy season. The website turns both into booked jobs.
Tracking closes the loop, so next month’s budget goes where this month’s jobs came from.
- Local SEO Google & Meta ads Homeowner finds you
- WebsiteVisit becomes a call, form or booking
- TrackingAds: matched to the booked job in your CRM, then sent back to Google and MetaSEO: calls, forms and bookings tracked by source in Google Analytics
- Booked jobs + revenueReported monthly, by channel where it can be tracked
Booked jobs from ads go back to Google and Meta, and next month’s budget follows the jobs
What we can track depends on your CRM, website and booking tools. If they fall short, we can help build what’s missing.
What’s included
SEO, ads and your website, run by one team
Show up in the map pack across more of your service area
When a homeowner in your territory searches for what you do, Google shows three businesses on the map. We work to get you into those three in more of the towns you serve, and the monthly rank map shows exactly where you stand. We track the calls, forms and bookings it brings in.
Local SEO 02 Paid AdvertisingGoogle and Meta ads measured in booked jobs
We run Google and Meta ads for home services companies and judge every campaign by cost per booked job. Booked jobs and revenue from your CRM go back to the ad platforms, so they learn to find more customers like your best ones.
Paid Advertising 03 Website DevelopmentWebsites that turn searches into booked jobs
We build fast WordPress sites for home services companies. Every page is built to get a homeowner to call, book or request a quote, and every one of those actions is tracked.
Website DevelopmentTracking and monthly reporting come with every engagement. They’re how we know what to cut and what to scale.
What we can track depends on your CRM, website and booking tools. If they fall short, we can help build what’s missing.
Where to start
Should you start with SEO, ads or your website?
It depends on what’s costing you jobs right now. This is how we usually call it after an audit.
| If this sounds like you | Start here |
|---|---|
| You’re moving into a new city | Ads to book jobs right away, with local SEO started alongside |
| Your map rankings stop at the edge of town | Local SEO: city pages, reviews, profile |
| Plenty of traffic, few bookings | Website: speed, layout, booking |
| Busy season is coming and crews have room | Ads, scaled to what your crews can handle |
| Too many junk leads | Ads cleanup, plus a site that qualifies before the call |
| Nobody can say which channel works | Tracking, before another dollar moves |

Questions we get
Digital Marketing FAQ
Do I have to use all three services?
No. Plenty of clients start with one, usually whichever gap is costing them the most jobs. After the audit we’ll tell you which service we’d start with and why.
Why use one agency for SEO, ads and the website?
Because the channels affect each other. Ads data shows which keywords are worth ranking for, SEO lowers what you pay for those clicks over time, and the website decides how many visits from both turn into jobs. With separate vendors, everyone reports their own wins and nobody owns the total.
Do you do social media management?
No. We stopped offering it so we could focus on the channels we can tie directly to booked jobs: local SEO, Google and Meta ads, and websites. We do run paid ads on Facebook and Instagram.
What kinds of companies do you work with?
Multi-crew home services companies across the U.S., from lawn care, landscaping and pet waste removal to window treatments, roofing and more. We also have playbooks for cleaning, pest control, HVAC, plumbing and pool service.
How do you report results?
Every month you get booked jobs, cost per booked job and revenue by channel, plus what we’re cutting and what we’re doubling down on.
Where is Lobster Ferret based?
Dallas, Texas. The team is fully remote and works with home services companies across the country.
